THE ASCENT DANCE TEAM serves as the “visual flavor” of the Raven Marching Band, performing with dance, flag, rifle, and sabre ensembles. Ascent members are dedicated performers, participating at all Alonso football games, pep rallies, band concerts, solo and ensemble, and parades. The Ascent Dance Team performers are all selected by an audition process and work hard to produce quality routines and visual excitement for the Raven Marching Band’s halftime show.

 

The Ascent have a first period class in the band room called Eurythmics where they learn and practice choreography. Marching season tryouts are in April/May.
