Booster Organization & Joining our Village

The Alonso High School Band Boosters is the official support group for the AHS Band and it's members are critical to the success of our band program. 

This active group of top-notch parents, alumni, and community members go over and beyond to keep the “Raven Band” on the cutting edge of excellence.  Members are most active during fall marching season in a variety of areas including but not limited to, assisting with band camp, the annual band banquet, carpentry projects, chaperoning, collect parking fees, fundraising, game day meals, homecoming events, hosting special events, loading/unloading equipment, transporting equipment, photography, providing water/gatorade, senior night events, uniform alterations, and more.  

New members who wish to chaperone at games/events are required by Hillsborough County Schools to complete an online volunteer application on the county website. Instructions and the Band Booster Application may also be found on Charms in the “Band Booster” folder.

Club Sponsorship Levels:

Bronze Booster  - $10 per person; Incl. (1) car magnet.

Silver Booster - $40 per person; Incl. (1) car magnet, (1) Halftime Show T-Shirt; Concert Program Listing.
Gold Booster - $80 per person; Incl. (1) car magnet, (1) Halftime Show T-Shirt; (1) Band Polo Shirt; Top Concert Program Listing.

Booster Board Positions

  • President - Responsible for organizing booster activities and chaperones for the benefit of the Alonso Band Program. The President will work closely with the Director, Board and Committees.


  • Vice President – Fundraising – Responsible for researching and organizing fundraising activities to benefit the general band fund and individual student accounts.


  • Vice President – Volunteers – Responsible for ensuring volunteer needs are filled for all events.


  • Treasurer - Responsible for keeping clear records of all transactions or monies made through the booster organization and reporting them to parents/guardians.


  • Secretary - Responsible for documenting and reporting meeting information to parents/guardians.
